Nothing but the Truth
If there are words that are forever honored, both in heaven and on earth, they can be nothing but the truth. It’s funny how people delight in lies, you meet someone, then tell them that you are unable to assist them and you can see the anger and utter disgust right from their eyes to
your denial. I value truth. If two years ago, I would meet people who would just say, “I actually don’t have the time for this. I am busy and would not be able to assist you in this.” This would help me a lot. At least, I wouldn’t have to wait for or on them. This is the value of truth.
Maintaining a yes or no in your conversations
But let your word ‘yes’ be ‘yes,’ and your ‘no’ be ‘no.’ Anything more than this is from the evil one.
Math 5:37, HCSB
I have seen a generation that is hurt, a generation that is hungry for God but has continually been wounded by the next person who probably wasn’t truthful from their part. I see many give up on dreams, passions, talent and even worse the gathering together of brethren. In the beginning, it was an amazing collection but now has turned to a foot hole of lies back and forth or competing entities.
I know what lies can do, lies can make an entire generation run backward, lies can return your children back to where you began, lies bring down kings and also destroy Nations, but truth prevails, nothing but the truth.
The value of Truth
The truth will make way for your help, the right help in time of need.
Jesus said and “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” But before this words, he also said to the Jews that had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples.”
John 8:32, 31, HCSB
Truth is what sets free, nothing but the truth.
